Our Worship Ministry exists to lead the family of God in declaring HIS worth by offering ourselves as living, breathing, God-honoring sacrifices. Romans 12:1-2

Our Worship team leads the congregation in singing each Sunday morning, as well as providing special music from time to time. Our style is mainly current contemporary worship music.
Our desire is to encourage those who are gifted and have a have a heart for worship to lead the congregation in praising HIM!

Psalm 150

Praise the LORD.
Praise God in his sanctuary;

2 Praise him for his acts of power;
praise him for his surpassing greatness.

3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise him with the harp and lyre,

4 praise him with tambourine and dancing,
praise him with the strings and flute,

5 praise him with the clash of cymbals,

The current worship band is made up of electric and acoustic guitar, bass, drums, piano, and keyboard for instruments as well as male and female vocalists. At Rock Creek Church we have a dedicated sound and video team that runs the soundboard, records Pastor Mike's messages, uploads them to the web, and works with the program, Media Shout.

Current Schedule

Melanie has served as a worship leader for eight years prior to coming to Rock Creek Church. She graduated from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY in 2000. That year she married her husband, Mark Neely, and they have two sons.

Melanie’s life verse is, “Make a joyful noise to the Lord all the earth.”
